A Sixmilebridge Councillor is urging young people to be sensible when thinking about going for a dip in the warm weather.
It follows an incident in Kilmurry yesterday when two young people were reported missing by their friends, 45 minutes after going swimming in the local authority reservoir there.

Units from the Shannon Fire Brigade, Gardaí, Ambulance and the Shanon-based Irish coastguard helicopter were dispatched to the scene but the pair were found safe and well on the roadway, making their way back to their firends.
Councillor Alan O'Callaghan says swimming in reservoirs is dangerous and he's asking people to stick to designated swimming areas:
