As the water situation returns to normal in most parts of Clare, some disruption to local supplies is still affecting parts of the Shannon, South East Clare and North Clare areas.

Overnight shut offs took place in Shannon, Newmarket on Fergus. Sixmilebridge, Clonlara, Shannon Banks, Westbury, Parteen, Ardnacrusha, Corofin and Ruan.
Emergency water supplies are still being provided by Tankers in Lahinch, Ennistymon, Quin and Crusheen but it’s hoped normal services will soon resume and repairs continue in these areas.
Another update from Clare County Council is expected later today.
