Thousands of people are expected to descend on Spancilhill today for the world-famous annual horse fair.
People will travel from far and wide to trade, and for an array of competitions.

The first charter for the historic fair was granted by King Charles, and the now one-day event is approaching it's 400th anniversary.
Gardaí are on hand this morning – traffic diversions are in place for motorists travelling from Tulla to Ennis, with delays expected, and those attending are asked to park in one of the official car parks.
