There's been another spike in overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick today.
Though it's the middle of June, staff at the hospital are reporting a total of 23 patients lying on trolleys in its Emergency Department.

A further 11 are awaiting admission in other areas of the Dooradoyle facility.
The total number of 34 is the busiest of any hospital in Ireland.
