The St. Vincent de Paul is calling on the government to 'Plan for the right kind of recovery' ahead of the publication of its pre-budget submission for next year.
The organisation is set to launch its recommendation for 2015 later this morning, and says it is spending almost €80 million per year, up from €42 million in 2006.

It spent over €22 million on food and cash assistance in 2012, while over €11 million was spent on helping households with their energy costs.
