Met Éireann has issued a country-wide yellow weather warning for snow and ice.
The warning comes into effect this evening at 6pm and will last until 12 noon tomorrow with temperatures expected to drop as low as -3 tonight.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution as conditions are set to be icy and hazardous.
