A strike is underway at a 999 emergency call centre in Navan today.
It's part of a long standing row over pay and union recognition – between workers and their employer Conduit Global.

The company says it's already paying a living wage of 11.50 per hour and in the past week has agreed to an extra on-call payment.
However the Communications Workers Union says basic pay on wage slips is listed as just 11 Euro per hour.
Their spokesperson Ian McArdle has also assured patients that emergency services will NOT be affected by their action
