A Garda investigation is underway following a break-in to a restaurant in Killaloe.
Thieves gained entry to the premises in Twomilegate by tampering with the shutter and breaking a window.
A cash box containing a sum of money was stolen.

On the same night a silver Nissan Sports coupe, which was parked on the main street in Ballina was stolen.
There are no registration plates on this car and no front bumper and the rear bumper is gold in colour.
