A Clare disability campaigner claims the government needs to step up and show leadership in supporting the needs of people with disabilities.
It comes as a new report has found that 1,000 new residential places are needed for those with disabilities, and over 1,300 people need enhanced services.
The latest Health Research Board report into disability services also found that more than one third of people registered with the National Ability Support System in 2020 were under 18 years old.
