Belgian authorities are treating an incident at Brussels Central Station as a terrorist act.
A suspected suicide bomber was shot by soldiers patrolling the building – no one else was injured.
A suspected suicide bomber approached Brussels Central station yesterday evening wearing a backpack and what’s believed to have been a bomb belt.

He attracted attention after setting off a small explosion and was shot dead by soldiers patrolling the station.
The station and surrounding area were evacuated after the incident, with businesses and restaurants also ordered to close.
Belgian police are now investigating the identity of the attacker and whether he had links to the so-called Islamic State.
