A Syrian woman – living in Limerick – is appealing to Irish citizens not to allow history to repeat itself.
Razan Ibraheem is addressing a UNHCR meeting in Geneva today alongside UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

Ms Ibraheem says Syrian people are going through a similar plight as Irish people did during the Great Famine.
