Efforts are underway to try and restore flights between Shannon and Bristol.
The Director of Shannon Airport has acknowledged that it was a popular route and there have been numerous requests to try and re-establish it.

In a written response to Defence Minister and Clare TD Martin Moroney also added that discussions are underway with a number of airlines.
