The Tanaiste says the country is moving into a new era and there's a small amount of extra money to spend next year.
Joan Burton's comments come just three days before the Finance and Public Exepeniture Ministers deliver Budget 2015.

The Department of Finance published figures today showing that the Government's deficit is below the projected target – and that the Finance Minister will have 900 million euro to play with in next week's budget.
Minister Burton says any extra money will be spent on improving services and bringing down taxes.
