The Taoiseach is to acknowledge the work of independent radio stations in response to recent storms.
Independent stations, including Clare FM, played a vital role during Storms Ophelia and Emma in updating the public about the impact of the weather in their areas.
Tonight, at a reception in Dublin Castle, Leo Varadkar will formally acknowledge this contribution by making a presentation to the Chairman of the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland, John Purcell.
