An Taoiseach says 2014 will be "the year for jobs" and that will be the focus of Government.

The Cabinet's held a special meeting on jobs – looking back at their action plan for 2013 – which saw 299 of 333 measures implemented.
A new plan will focus on creating jobs in construction, the manufacturing industry and providing more places for trainees and apprentices.
IDA plans to target investors in Asia will be announced in the coming weeks.
