The Taoiseach has condemned today’s work stoppage by nurses at the A&E Department of Limerick Regional Hospital.
Enda Kenny has told the Dail that the industrial action ‘will not make the situation any better’ and is urging all sides to enter into talks to find the best possible solution for all parties, including patients.
Nurses at Dooradoyle have begun their work stoppage, which is set to last until 5:00 today (Wed) to highlight what they say is chronic overcrowding and shortfalls in spending at the region’s main hospital.
