Tesco says its received strong local support in Kilrush for plans to develop a new service station in the West Clare town
In a statement to Clare Fm the Supermarket giant went on to state the issues raised by an Bord Pleanála in its last application for planning permission have been addressed.
It comes as local petrol retailers are again expected to appeal a decision by Kilrush Town Council to give the proposal for a four island filling station, the green light.
