Thirty further deaths linked with COVID-19 have been announced by NPHET.
12 of the deaths occurred in March, 13 in February, 4 in January and 1 is under investigation.
There has now been a total of 4,452 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland.

Meanwhile, public health officials are also reporting only a small number of COVID cases in Clare.
Between one and four cases – the exact number is not speciffied – have been announced here tonight, among the 311 new COVID cases announced nationally.
397 people are in hospital with the virus, 95 of them in ICU – that number has fallen by eight since yesterday.
