Thousands of people are set to descend on the county today for the Ring of Clare cycle.
2,500 cyclists from across the country and beyond are taking part in the event which takes in either a 120 kilometre or 160 kilometre route through the banner county.
Beginning at Clarecastle GAA grounds at 9am, cyclists will travel through The Hand and onto Cappagh Pier and Kilrush, with more cyclists taking in Loop Head Peninsula and the Shannon Estuary route

They’ll finish in Clarecastle this afternoon with the Bike Fleadh After-Party taking place in Ennis this evening.
