Three Clare food premises were forced to close their doors last month due to breaches of hygiene legislation.
The Food Safety Authority served the orders on The Golden Fish &Chips takeaway on the main street in Ballina/Killaloe, Polish Groceries Galicja Ltd on the Mill Road in Ennis and the Roadside Tavern in Lisdoonvarna.

They were among eleven premises shut down in August and FSAI says the closures concerned improper storage of foodstuffs and poor cleaning and sanitising.
However the orders on the Clare food outlets were lifted within 3, 4 and 5 days respectively
