County Clare is getting a new Senior Government Minister.
The Taoiseach has nominated Kilnaboy Native and Junior Agriculture Minister Tony Kileen for a position in the Cabinet.

Minister Kileen will, as expected, take up the Defence Portfolio, which was left vacant by the resignation of Willie O Dea.
