Tourism providers across Clare are being urged to maximise the potential from Continental Airline’s decision to increase its flights between Shannon Airport and its New York Hub.

From the end of May the US Carrier will be operating 11 weekly departures from the Mid West to Newark International Airport until September.
This will see an extra 21 hundred seats being provided to and from Shannon to the states during that period and Clare Senator Tony Mulcahy is urging local tourism operators to offer value for money
