Two Clare destinations have been shortlisted for World Tourism Awards this year.
The Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark and Loop Head Peninsula are the only Irish contenders at the 10th annual World Responsible Tourism Awards.

The announcement comes following a great period of success for The Burren as it was recently awarded the "European Diploma of Protected Areas Award" from the Council of Europe.
It’s hoped that being nominated for the prestigious awards will draw more attention to Ireland and boost Clare’s profile as a holiday destination.
