Industrial action by Traffic Wardens in Ennis has been suspended today
The dispute between Ennis Town Council and the wardens centres on a security allowance that they have not been paid and recommendations from the Labour Court were rejected by the three wardens

The wardens commenced work to rule last Friday
Following a meeting with the council and union representatives last night, the action has been called off for two weeks to allow for meaningful negotiations to take place.
SIPTU Representative Tony Kenny is hopeful that the issues can be resolved.
