The Transport Minister has insisted he has no plans to privatise any public transport services while he's in charge.
But Shane Ross says he won't intervene in Bus Éireann plans to transfer some of its Expressway services into private hands.

The plan is being opposed by its workers and is the subject of a current ballot for strike action.
Minister Ross says that while he's the shareholder in Bus Éireann, he won't interfere in its commercial decisions.
