A 49 year old man is due back in court today charged in connection with a serious assault on well known Clare musician Noel Hill.
Michael Folen is charged with intentionally or recklessly causing serious harm to Mr Hill, a native of Lissycasey but living in Connemara for many years, on the 26th of December 2008.
Mr Folen of Lettermullen in Connemara is due before Galway Circuit Court today where a date for his trial is expected to be set.
