A trial ferry service linking North Clare and Galway City is set to open next month.
According to the Irish Independent the Ballyvaughan Bay Hop will operate from Monday to Saturday from September 2nd to 13th.
The service, which will accommodate 12 passengers per journey, will be operated by local man Liam O’Brien of O’Brien Line during the trial.
It’s hoped a successful trial will lead to a permanent service being employed for commuters of North Clare to Galway.
