Tributes are being paid to former Ennis Councillor and local shopkeeper Michael Guerin who died at the weekend.
Michael Guerin was a member of the former Ennis Urban Council from 1974 to 1985 and served as Chairman or Town Mayor in the late seventies.
He also served on Clare County Council from 1979 to 1985 and was a prominent member of Clare Fianna Fail, contesting a general election for the party in 1987.
