Tributes are being paid to the west Clare man who passed away following a fire at his home.
The remains of 87 year old Paddy Behan were found in his home at Tonavoher near Knockerra late on Tuesday night after a fire was reported there by neighbours.
The scene was preserved for a technical examination while Gardaí in Kilrush investigate the circumstances of the blaze, but it is understood they are not treating it as suspicious.

Cathoirleach of Clare County Council and Cooraclare native Bill Chambers has been telling Clare FM about the mood in the area.
