There’s been a significant fall in the level of overcrowing at the region’s main hospital.
The latest INMO figures show 58 people were waiting to be admitted this morning, 31 of those in the Emergency Department.
The overall number is down 19 on yesterday’s figure.

The number of patients being treated for Covid-19 has also fallen, to 36 and the number in intensive care has remained stable at 8.
The hospital is continuing to manage a covid outbreak which is affecting five wards.
