The head of Shannon Airport is warning of a further drop in passenger numbers in the months ahead with cost saving measures being introduced.
New figures from the SAA show that transatlantic traffic fell by 19 percent from January to June, with European traffic down 3 percent.
Overall passenger numbers fell by over 100,000 passengers and US Troop traffic was the only area of growth during the six month period.
