US President Donald Trump has hit out at the removal of Confederate statues – amid a heated national debate about race relations.
Mr Trump has caused outrage by defending organisers of a white supremacist rally in Virginia that left a woman dead and dozens hurt.
In a tweet he said it was sad to see history and culture being ripped apart with the removal of beautiful statues and monuments.
