Clare County Council has signed contracts for twenty new social houses in two seperate locations in the east of the county.
Feakle and Clonlara will see two new developments of ten houses each, which will be occupied by people on the council’s social housing list.
Funding for the units has been provided by the Department of Housing, and is expected to be completed in early 2019.

Director of Services for Social Development, Liam Conneally, says that construction will begin as soon as the planning process is completed.
