Two Clare farm enterprises have been selected as finalists in the All Ireland JFC Innovation Awards for Rural business taking place today
Dairy farmers Brid and Roger Fahy and Clare Farm Heritage Tours are among 13 farmers and rural-based finalists from all over the country in contention for the 40,000 Euro prize fund.
The Fahys from Linnalla in New Quay were short-listed for their new business of selling home pasteurised milk through special vending machines which will be on the streets of Galway next week.

Clare Farm Heritage Tours located near Corofin comprises of eight farmers that offer specialised tours of individual farms as well as the wider history of the region as well as folklore and archaeology.
