Two Clare community organisations have been awarded funding to transport local patients to hospitals and treatment centres.
More than €40,000 will be provided to Irish Red Cross Clare, with Sláinte an Chláir receiving more than €20,000 under the CLAR programme.
The new vehicles will be used to provide essential transport services for people with mobility issues across the county.
