A man and woman are recovering in hospital following an accident on the Ennis-Kildysart Road this morning.
The collision between a car and a jeep occured at around 8:30 this morning at Barntick, and resulted in the closure of the road for over two hours.

Gardaí, ambulance personnel and two units of the fire service from Ennis attended the scene.
At least one of the drivers had to be cut from their vehicle before both were brought to hospital by ambulance with what Gardaí say are non-life threatening injuries.
