Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to two fatal crashes in Cork and Tipperary overnight.
A pensioner in his 70's lost his life in a two car collision in Borrisokane in Tipperary – while a woman in her 60's suffered serious injuries in the incident.

While in Cork on the Mallow to Cork city road a van driver died after his vehicle collided with an ambulance.
Investigations are continuing and anyone who witnessed either of the incidents is asked to contact Gardaí.
