One of the Mid West’s long standing hotels, The Two Mile Inn officially closes its doors today with he loss of 15 jobs.
The iconic premises on the Clare Limerick Border has been under receivership since 2008 after the hotel became another victim of the overbuilding in the sector because of tax breaks during the boom.
It’s sister hotel in Ennis the Woodstock which was also under receivership at the time was sold on as a going concern.
