Two people have been brought to safety, after their yacht ran aground in Lough Derg.
Lough Derg RNLI were dispatched to Jushing Rocks on the Ogonnolloe shore last evening shortly before 8 o’clock.
A passing yacht that had remained on scene in safe water, provided the lifeboat crew with details of the yacht in difficulty.

Lifeboat crew found both people on board to be safe and unharmed and once an inspection of the boat was carried out, it was towed back to Killaloe by the Killaloe Coast Guard.
