The Lough Derg RNLI have rescued two people after the outboard motor on their boat broke down last night.
The alarm was raised around quarter past seven after an 18 foot motor boat suffered damage to the propeller on their outboard engine.

The boat drifted onto rocks at Kylenoe due to high winds and it took forty minutes before RNLI crew members were able to reach the boat as they negotiated shallow waters.
Once the boat was off the rocks and towed into safe water, the lifeboat towed it to Terryglass Harbour, where it was taken out of the water.
There's no reports of injuries.
