Two people have suffered hypothermia after their Kayak capsized in stormy conditions on Lough Derg yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene opposite Holy Island pier at Mountshannon at about 2.30 on Friday afternoon.

The man and woman both in their 30s had managed to get ashore but were suffering from Hypothermia.
Killaloe Coastguard, Lough Derg Lifeboat and Shannon Rescue 115 were all dispatched and brought the two to University Hospital Limerick.
