Two people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision near Kilrush.
The incident, which involved two cars, happened at around 3:15 on the N68 Ennis to Kilrush road at Knockerra.

The vehicles collided at a four-crossroads.
Three units of the fire and -an ambulance from Kilrush along with a second ambulance from and rapid response advanced paramedic unit from Ennis responded to the scene.
Fire crews had to cut the doors off one vehicle so that the injured could be safely removed.
Two people have been taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment however their injuries are not believed to be serious.
The N68 was closed for a time while emergency services dealt wit the incident.
