Nurses say the region's main hospital is suffering from the highest level of overcrowding in the country today.
Figures from teh INMO show 31 people are waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick, 21 of those in the emergency department.

It comes on a day where 280 people are waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
