29 patients are on trolleys or in overflow areas of wards at University Hospital Limerick.
The number, which includes 12 in the hospital’s Emergency Department, is the second busiest in the country today but marks a significant reduction on higher levels seen there in recent weeks.
The INMO also say there are over 350 people are on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
