The UK’s minister responsible for Northern Ireland has denied he will be a biased chairman of the latest talks to restore power-sharing.
Secretary of State James Brokenshire’s position has been questioned, now that the British government is relying on the DUP to keep it in power.
Sinn Féin says a new independent chair should be chosen instead, to lead the talks between the major Northern parties on the return of Stormont.

But Secretary Brokenshire told the BBC that it was the parties themselves that should take the lead.
