The UL Hospitals Group is warning patients that service disruptions are set to continue into a fourth week as a result of the cyber attack on the HSE.
Record numbers have been attending the Emergency Department at University Hospital Limerick this week and less urgent patients are being advised to expect delays.
All outpatient clinics, elective inpatient and day case procedures and diagnostics including x-rays and MRI’s remain cancelled.

Dr Joe Kelly, a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at UL Hospitals Group, says delays may continue for a number of weeks to come.
