The United Nations has confirmed that its inspectors on the way to the scene of a suspected chemical weapons attack in Syria have been fired upon by snipers.
The inspectors have been allowed access to the site for the first time since the attack over five days ago.
Meanwhile, the British Prime Minister’s interrupted his family holiday in Cornwall to return to London to discuss the crisis.
David Cameron will chair a National Security Council meeting in London tomorrow to look at the options are available.
Foreign Secretary William Hague says military action may be the only remaining response.
