Up To 37 People At Risk Of Losing Jobs At Ennis Company

Up 37 people are at risk of losing their jobs at an Ennis-based company.

LoyaltyBuild says it's maintaining it's presence in Ireland but says it may have to operate with a reduced workforce in the county town.

Loyaltybuild operates loyalty schemes for a number of companies, but has lost one of its main customers Super Valu following what it calls the mutual decision to end their relationship.

As a result, up to 37 jobs could now go at it's offices on Station Road in Ennis.

In a statement to Clare FM, the company says it is changing its business model.

It has signalled cuts by saying that it will refocus on becoming an agile, leaner and predominantly digital-led business.

A process of consultation with employees has begun, and the company insists they will be provided with the necessary supports.

In 2013, Loyaltybuild was at the centre of a major data breach which saw hundreds of thousands peoples' credit card details compromised.
