Power has been restored to the vast majority of ESB customers affected by an outage in Ennis this afternoon.
Over 1500 homes and businesses were without supply for over an hour as the fault hit much of the town, including the Gort and Tulla Road areas.

ESB crews located the fault and now only 125 homes on the outskirts of the town are without electricity.
Officials say it will be at least 7:00 this evening until their issues are rectified
