Mr Trump was repeatedly accused of being inconsistent on a number of issues including immigration and the war in Afghanistan.

He admitted he changed his stance on issues but said flexibility was a strength.

And Donald Trump responded to claims from the party's most recent presidential nominee, Mitt Romney, who described Trump as a 'misogynist'.
